Oxton, Prenton & District U3A is one of the smaller groups in the Wirral and Deeside U3A network, having less than 200 members. Our small size makes it easy for new members to find and make friends with other members who have similar interests, within the group. Just because we are small does not mean however that we offer a limited programme, quite the opposite! We pride ourselves on ‘punching above our weight’ offering a range of groups, events and programmes that some other larger groups can only aspire to.

If you are retired, semi-retired or soon to retire please come and visit us at one of our meetings. We meet every two weeks on a Thursday morning at 10am in the Church Hall at Trinity with Palm Grove Church, Oxton (corner of Beresford Road and Alton Road). We would love to meet you and take the opportunity to show you around.

It will soon be time to for all members to renew their membership: the first morning for doing this will be Thursday 27th October. The cost is £12-00 per person unless you already belong to another U3A in which case it is £8-50.

It is always a very busy time at the front desk so PLEASE, PLEASE HELP either by having your cheques ready, made out to Oxton, Prenton & District U3A, or by having the correct money, as it is very difficult to have sufficient change available.

If you do not renew your membership by 1st January 2017 you will be removed from our database and will no longer be eligible to attend any groups or monthly meetings.
